Cuban López wears Sada Cruzeiro’s jersey for the second season in 2021/22. The player already accumulates titles: champion of 2021 Club World Champs, being the best outside hitter and MVP, champion of 2021 Supercopa and two-times Campeonato Mineiro (2020 and 2021). He also won Copa Brasil 2021, in addition to being runner-up in Troféu Super Vôlei and 2020 Supercopa.

Before joining Raposa squad, López defended Argentina’s UPCN, when he was champion of Argentina Cup in 2019 and South American vice-champion in 2020, when he was chosen as the best outside hitters. In Argentina, he also played for Gigantes del Sur for two seasons.

Miguel López is one of the most promising athletes of the Cuban volleyball team. He has been in the youth categories since 2015, being runner-up in the U-21 World Cup and under-23 bronze in 2017. He defended Cuba at the Rio 2016. He was champion of Pan-American Cup and NORCECA Cup in 2019, in addition to being runner-up at Pan American Games in the same year.
