Sada Cruzeiro wins the fifth match at Superliga and now focuses everything on Club World Championship

SadaCruzeiro had a great performance on Friday night, 11/16 in Contagem, and beat Caramuru Volei by 3 sets, guaranteeing the fifth victory in 2018/19 Superliga. With the support of its fans, the blue team played really well and scored 25/20, 25/18 and 25/20.

The middle blocker Kevin Le Roux was the highest scorer for SadaCruzeiro, with 11 points. The second player who scored the most was Rodriguinho, with 10 points. He was elected the best player on the court, with the VivaVôlei trophy.

After this match, SadaCruzeiro’s squad will dedicate its total attention to the Club World Championship.

“We played a good game and I think we have managed to adjust some things, our serve, our attack, important things for what is coming ahead, and it also gives us more confidence for the tournament in Poland. Now it’s all about preparing the team for the World Championship in these last days in Belo Horizonte, because it will be a very difficult competition”, said Coach Marcelo Mendez.
