“It will be a very difficult game, but we came here prepared for it, knowing that we would face great teams, after all this is the Club World Championship. We have been studying the Trentino and we are going to have a great game. We need to play well and show consistency. Our team, with all the changes we have had, is also a very strong team and we always want to win and do our best”, said coach Marcelo Mendez.

The experienced libero Serginho pointed out how determined the team is for the duel next Wednesday. “We missed a great opportunity in the game against Asseco Resovia. Now it’s time for the next game. Our only goal is the victory and we know we can play on an equal footing and achieve this positive result, “emphasized Serginho.

In the opening round, the Italians beat Iran’s Khatam Ardakan 3-0 and took the lead of group B with three points. The Polish Asseco Resovia is in second place with the two points they got in the tie-break against Sada Cruzeiro, which has one point in the ranking.

Group A is led by Italy’s Lube Civitanova, with three points they got in the win over Polish Skra Belchatow, followed by the Russians Fakieł Nowy Urengoj with two points, and Zenit Kazan, with one point.
