Sada Cruzeiro plays this Sunday, Dec 17th aiming for the bronze medal of the Club World Championship in Poland. The match against the Polish Skra Belchatow starts at 2:30pm (Brasília time), 5:30 local time in the Tauron Arena, Krakow. In the semifinal against Zenit Kazan, the Russians did better and won 3-0 (25/23, 25/19, 25/18) over Sada Cruzeiro after playing very well, especially in the serve. In the other semifinal the Polish team lost to the Italian Lube Civitanova, also 3-0.

The Brazilian captain talked about the result. “Unfortunately our game didn’t work out today while they were amazing on serve, did well in all the elements and achieved the victory deservedly. It is a frustrating result, especially for our team which is used to being on decisive games and has already won so many titles such as the World Championship three times. But we go on with our heads up, knowing that we did a good job. We will fight strongly for the third place and take that medal to Brazil. It will not be easy, this is a very tough championship, but we will do our best to win”, said outside hitter Filipe.
