Triple block working well – FIVB

An amazing performance. That is how Sada Cruzeiro got its ticket to Krakow to fight for the fourth World Title. The Brazilian team won the last match of the first phase by 3-0 (25/13, 32/30, 25/20) over the host Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle this Thursday, Dec 14th in Opole, Poland. Now, the three-time champion faces Zenit Kazan in the semifinal that happens this Saturday, Dec 16th, at 2:30pm (Brasília time), 5:30pm local time.

“We didn’t start the tournament well. We were not used to all this cold and were very anxious to this World Championship. But after the first game we let loose and got way better. Today our serve was especially great. In the second set, when we had a harder time and were behind on the score, we found our way together to go up and this is really important for the team. We are a family and that is what matter for us. Now we have to keep on playing like we did today and maybe even better. We are going to keep fighting because we came here to fight for each match and we are on the right way”, said Simon.
