Cuban López plays for Sada Cruzeiro for the fourth season in 2021/22.

At the beginning of 2023/24, he became four-time Mineiro’s Champion with Sada Cruzeiro.

In the 2022/23 season he was champion of Mineiro, Supercopa, bronze medal in the Club World Championship and also champion of the Copa Brasil, South American and Superliga.

Before that he was: champion of the 2021/22 Superliga (best outside hitter and MVP), champion of the 2022 South American Championship (MVP), champion of the 2021 Club World Championship (best outside hitter and MVP), two-time Supercopa champion (2021 and 2022) and three-time champion Mineiro (2020, 2021 and 2022). He also won the 2021 Copa Brasil.

Before joining Raposa squad, López defended Argentina’s UPCN, when he was champion of Argentina Cup in 2019 and South American vice-champion in 2020, when he was chosen as the best outside hitters. In Argentina, he also played for Gigantes del Sur for two seasons.

Miguel López is one of the most promising athletes of the Cuban volleyball team. He has been in the youth categories since 2015, being runner-up in the U-21 World Cup and under-23 bronze in 2017. He defended Cuba at the Rio 2016. He was champion of Pan-American Cup and NORCECA Cup in 2019, in addition to being runner-up at Pan American Games in the same year.
