2020/21 is Fernando Cachopa’s 7th season playing for Sada Cruzeiro. He started in 2014 as a player on the base categories and soon got his place on the main team.
He is two-time World Champion (2015 and 2016), five-time South-American Champion (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020), four-time Superliga Champion (2017/18, 2016/17, 2015/16 and 2014/15), among other titles with Sada Cruzeiro.
Playing for the national team, in 2019 Fernando Cachopa was World Champion in Japan and South-American Champion. Also was South-American Champion u-19 in 2012, World Champion u-23 in 2013 and South-American Champion u-21 in 2014.
