Sada Cruzeiro travels to the Club World Championship on November 22nd

This week, in addition to focusing on Superliga, SadaCruzeiro will also devote much of its attention to the Club World Championship _ tournament the team will play starting on November the 26th in Poland.  The team travels to Europe next week, on Thursday, the 22nd, in search of their fourth Champion title.

“It is a World Championship and of course, our mind is focused on the competition, though we cannot disregard the Superliga, as we still have one last game.  It will be an important game, as we are coming up in the Superliga, and it will be our last one in Contagem before the trip. We want to perform well in this match, to say goodbye to our fans and then, we will concentrate everything we have got on the World Championship, which will be a very difficult tournament”, said Coach Marcelo Mendez.

SadaCruzeiro is in Pool B of the Club World Championship, which will be played in the city of Rzeszów, and its debut will be against the Polish AssecoResovia, on Monday, the 26th, at 5:30 p.m. On Tuesday the Brazilian team does not play and returns to the field on Wednesday, the 28th, against the Italian Trentino, at 2:30. On Thursday the 29th, the opponent will be the Iranian Khatam Ardakan at 17:30. All games will be broadcast live to Brazil by Sportv.

Zenit Kazan from Russia, Polish SkraBelchatow, Italian Lube Civitanova and the Russian FakiełNowyUrengoj are in Pool A. These clubs will play in Radom. The city of Czestochowa will receive the semifinals on December 1st, and the final on the 2nd.
